2nd Update Post - Videos

Don't forget to scroll down and check out the last couple of months picture update. These are some of the videos that we've taken of Kamryn over the last few months. (I could only upload some of the videos that we have. They are apparently too large for blogspot to handle.)

Kamryn eating rice cereal. It was so cute/funny. When Kamryn was learning to eat, it took a few times for her to figure out to open her mouth and then I'd put the spoon in there. And a few attempts for her to swallow the food too, she'd kind of let it sit in her mouth and then she's swallow it. Although I think the first few times were more of reflex action than actually knowing what she was doing. She also would G-A-G on the cereal. I couldn't figure it out, I thought she was just not liking the new texture in her mouth and it was making her gag. But then one day, she was apparently starving because she was throwing the mother of all fits for food and in the chaos I got her cereal a little too warm. But what, she's not gagging. She was gagging on the cereal because it was too cold. She wants her cereal like her bottles - warm (borderline hot)! So now, I have to warm the water, add formula, veggie, and rice cereal, and then heat again, remove from microwave and stir like mad. But no more gagging. We've tried eating the veggies without mixing it in the cereal but they are so thin that it makes an incredible mess. So, I mix the veggie in with her cereal and she eats them both. She doesn't mind ;) To date, Kamryn has only had sweet potatoes and carrots. She likes carrots waaay better but still ate the sweet potatoes just fine :)

This is the second video recording we have of this event. Kamryn is PO'd and trying to roll over to get her paci. The first video (shot right before this) is too large of a file to be able to download on here :( Keith and I were trying to put Kamryn to bed but all she wanted was to roll around and she just had to have that paci. She has successfully rolled over a few times but she can only do it when she's in her crib. She will get her feet positioned in the slates of the crib so that she can use them to help her roll over. If she's not in the crib her right arm gets stuck under her. She is rolling toward the right at the moment. She will be rolling over before we know it. And crawling too! If placed on her belly, she will bring her knees up to the crawl position but she doesn't do anything with her arms. So eventually, she just gets mad and starts to cry and that's the end of trying to crawl for that day :) But, we're working on it :)

Please click on this link to see more videos of Kamryn. Since they were too large to upload to blogspot, I had to put them into an album here on Photobucket. Let me know if you have problems.
