WoW!!! Kamryn is 3 months old today!! Life needs to slow down a bit. Keith and I were just talking the other day about how busy we are. We always thought we were soo busy before having a baby but its twice as bad now!! We never have time to do anything. I told Keith that I need to quit working just to keep up with things at home :) But that won't happen for a long time, if ever.
We are heading up to Indy tonight after work to pick up my grandparents. They are flying in from Arizona. Some of our family is arriving on Friday and others on Saturday and even Sunday to join us in celebrating Kamryn's baptism. She will be baptized at our church this Sunday and then we'll have a little party following at our house. We are very excited to have people over and get to visit with family and friends. I don't have any pictures of Kamryn to post right now but we will be taking her 3 month picture tonight so I will try to post that soon :)
Some of the new things going on with Kamryn:
*She makes cooing sounds and will look right at you when you talk to her. It's like she's really talking to you. She loves to tell you all about her day when we get home from daycare.
*She stays awake for longer periods
*Kamryn will lay in her playpen and just soak up her surroundings while I cook and/or clean
*She falls asleep on her own, every night and sleeps thru the night
*She loves to be read to
*Kamryn is getting better with tummy time
*She's liking her bouncy seat more and more...has even started kicking her legs and staring at the toys. She doesn't touch them yet but looks at them like she wants to
*She eats a minimum of 4 oz...she likes a 6 oz bottle first thing in the morning and one or two more throughout the day. She eats about 8 bottles a day.
*We are using up the last of the newborn diapers...the size 1 diapers seem to be a little big still (they go above her belly button) but the newborn ones are too tight.
*She has also outgrown her newborn clothes. She is currently wearing size 0-3 months clothes although some of the 3-6 month stuff fits OK too.
*Kamryn is very long. Most of her shirt sleeves and pants are too short but her belly and butt is so small that they don't fit around the waist :) I'm hoping she's going to be tall and skinny like her daddy!
*Sometimes all she wants is for you to stand up and hold her. And bounce her up and down. Or her paci.
*She is equally a Mommy's Girl and a Daddy's girl...sometimes all she wants is for me to hold her and sometimes it's Keith. She just stares at him everytime he's around...he's wrapped around her finger but refuses to admit it ;)
*Kamryn will now lay down and behave during a diaper change. She's still not too crazy about having her clothes changed but it has to be done
*She really is such a mellow baby. She just goes with the flow and takes it all in. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect child :) We are sooooo blessed!!
