Sorry it’s been a while since we’ve updated. I just feel like there’s nothing interesting going on. This is probably a good thing, because that means no bad things going on either. Keith and I had a very productive weekend. I spent all day Saturday cleaning and he did some outside work. Then he helped me finish cleaning the house on Sunday by vacuuming for me! He’s so amazing. The only thing I have left to catch up on is laundry. I dread laundry. I’ve been avoiding it for a while. It’s all washed, I just hate folding/hanging it. But it must be done. So my plan is to tackle that this next couple of days. After finishing up the cleaning yesterday, Keith took me out to dinner. There’s a new Mexican restaurant in Columbus that we’ve been wanting to try. It was soooooo good. Although I love most Mexican restaurants, this one could be our new favorite. But, I learned that I can no longer sit in a booth comfortably. I could hardly eat because I couldn’t get comfortable. Maybe I shouldn’t blame that on the booth though, it’s been happening a lot lately.
My Jake turned 2 years old yesterday! It seems like he’s been in our house forever. And you know I just had to go out and get him a new toy to celebrate :) I bought him flavored bone. One of those big ones that had the two big knuckle ends on it…he’s never had one before. Needless to say, I didn’t see him for hours after I gave it to him! And then this morning he got a new stuffed animal that has 2 squeakers in it. He loved that too, he wouldn’t give it up long enough to even play fetch. But on this coming Thursday (the 15th) my baby has to go have surgery. He has a ½” stone in his bladder. We have to drop him off at the vet on Wednesday after work and can’t pick him up until Friday. It makes me so sad that he’s going to have to be there that long. He’ll be so scared and lonely :( So this weekend we’re just going to take it easy and hope he heels well. Hopefully he can forgive me for leaving him at the vet so long.

We have a baby appointment tomorrow. It should be a relatively routine appointment. I don't have too big of a questions list this time but I'm excited to hear the heartbeat. I sometimes don't feel like I'm getting much bigger but then I'll notice a new stretch mark (or two) on my belly and the scale at the doctor's office just keeps going up. Plus, the baby's movements are getting stronger and stronger. It is still such an amazing feeling every time the little one moves or kicks. I'm so grateful that our baby is healthy and strong. It's so weird to think that in 8 weeks (or hopefully less) we will have a brand new addition to our happy family. I can't wait. I just want the baby to wait until at least the baby shower (Nov 14) so that we can get everything ready for his/her arrival. Then the baby can come whenever it's ready. LOL. We start our child birth class next Monday. I'm very excited but a little nervous too. I hope Keith enjoys it. We'll definitely let you know how it goes.
